Client partner Duke University Health System and LUMEDX subject matter expert Matthew Esham have been selected to present at the upcoming HIMSS 2020 Global Health Conference & Exhibition.
The educational session from Duke titled “The Power of High-Quality, Interoperable Data” is scheduled for Friday, March 13, at 10:45 a.m. in room W209C. It will be led by Jill Engel, Associate Vice President of Heart Operations, Nursing and Patient Care Services; and Joe Kelly, Director of Cardiovascular Informatics & Quality Improvement.
Engel and Kelly will focus on how the role-based workflow solution that includes structured reporting, concurrent data abstraction, and analytics insights—developed as part of a partnership between Duke University Health System and LUMEDX—is driving clinical and operational excellence.
LUMEDX’s Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics Matthew Esham will talk about the top three things that interfere with a facility’s ability to analyze data in a timely fashion as well as how to define the metrics that will ultimately drive positive and sustainable changes to the business.
“Managing Knowledge Hoarders, Deconstructing Departmental Silos, and Creating Data Context to Make Way for Business Intelligence Maturity” is at 10 a.m. Monday, March 9, in room W308A. It is part of the HIMSS20 Big Data Symposium, a pre-conference program.
HIMSS20 is March 9–13 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. LUMEDX will be at Booth 373, hosting presentations from other client partners as well as demos of HealthView Analytics (HVA) and cardiovascular information systems (CVIS).
