Implementing a consolidated data repository has not just made it easier for software users at Marion General Hospital to access CV service line information. It has also paved the way for the creation of specialized reports that support the hospital’s quality improvement initiatives.
“[The]Administration and physicians often ask me to run a report, and I never know what kind of request I’m going to get,” says Amy Morris, Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse at OhioHealth Marion General Hospital. “With LUMEDX, I know that I can go in and run any kind of report that they want.”
Amy uses LUMEDX’s Apollo Clinical Data Repository to create reports on a number of topics, including:
- Volumes (by procedure, physician, and county)
- Mortality rates
- Discharge medication
- Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC) measures
- And more
“I’ve even created reports for our pharmacy. They wanted to see the percentage of outpatients receiving a particular medication, and I was able to give them the information they needed,” Amy says. “The list goes on and on. Apollo is a never-ending resource.”
