HIMSS20 canceled due to COVID-19 concerns

For the first time in 58 years, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual conference will not be happening.

HIMSS has made the decision to cancel the 2020 HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition, scheduled for next week in Orlando. The developing threat of COVID-19 (coronavirus) has made it imperative to protect the health and safety of the global HIMSS community and an external advisory panel of medical professionals has determined that it would be an unacceptable risk to bring so many thousands of people together in Orlando next week. You can read the official statement here.

We at LUMEDX were looking forward to seeing you but thankfully we have other—safer—ways of connecting and hope you’ll reach out to us if you’d like to set up a virtual demo or schedule a call to answer your questions. If you had already made plans to meet with us or get a demo, someone will be in touch soon.
