ACC.21 goes all virtual due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions

Instead of a hybrid model as planned, the 70th annual American College of Cardiology (ACC) Scientific Session & Expo will be an all-virtual experience streaming live May 15-17.

ACC.21 was previously postponed until late spring in the hopes that people would be able to safely gather in Atlanta, Georgia. However, due to the continued spread of COVID-19 and a sudden, sharp increase in ongoing travel restrictions imposed by healthcare institutions, academic medical centers, and exhibitor companies, the decision was made to transition the meeting from a hybrid model to entirely virtual. On-demand access is also included with registration.

It will build on the success of last year’s meeting with an enhanced world-class program delivered through an innovative digital platform built for learning, collaboration, and networking. The event will also include a robust virtual Expo offering both exhibits and education and opportunities to engage and interact with attendees from around the world.

Registration is also open for MedAxiom’s CV Transforum Spring '21 Virtual Conference, which will feature a mix of general sessions on today’s top of mind issues and smaller breakout sessions that take a deep dive into cardiovascular challenges. The April 15-17 event will also provide opportunities for cardiovascular leaders and industry innovators to connect and exchange ideas and solutions for transforming cardiovascular care.
