LUMEDX Client Services: Technical Services
In an effort to provide "one stop shopping" services for our customers, the LUMEDX Client Services Organization has added a wide array of new technical services. Sites that do not have skilled database administrators (DBA's) on staff can utilize LUMEDX's Technical Service Offerings to help resolve any Apollo database problems they encounter.
Access Database Services:
Many cases of technical support for Apollo Advance Access databases are caused by:
- Corrupted databases
- Damaged databases
- Databases with "garbage" data
- Databases with incomplete data entry
- Inventory supply lists that need to be
converted to Apollo Advance tables
LUMEDX can help repair and restore corrupt and/or damaged Apollo Access databases, create update queries to correct erroneous data entry, move data between tables and convert inventory supply lists.
Additional SQL Services:
Due to the severe shortage of SQL DBA's in our client base, LUMEDX can assist our sites by providing the following services:
- SQL Server database migration from SQL to Access, or from SQL 6.5 to 7.0
- Disaster Recovery of Apollo SQL database
- Restoration of Apollo SQL database
Apollo Test Environment:
Because set up of a test environment is not a part of a standard implementation of Apollo Advance, many sites attempt to accomplish this themselves, or do without. This service includes the following:
- Set up database backend, either SQL or Access.
- Install Apollo software
- Configure interface installations.
- Test
The Apollo Test Environment service can be accomplished via remote dial in or live on site.
Apollo Upgrades:
Many of our clients lack the IT staff to do upgrades of Apollo and/or interface software released by LUMEDX. The Apollo Upgrade option allows LUMEDX to take on this task for sites, and includes upgrading core systems and interfaces for major or interim LUMEDX software releases.
On Site and Remote DBA/Citrix/Server Services:
Because LUMEDX recognizes the shortage of IT professionals in the workplace, we offer technical services to support Apollo Advance's architecture. LUMEDX Technical Services can support CardioChart.net servers, Apollo SQL Servers, and Citrix servers deployed for Apollo Advance. Services range from remote day-to-day support to building complex maintenance routines.
Hardware Services:
LUMEDX also provides hardware to run all of our software products. Our hardware vendor provides three-year, on-site support for hardware deployed nationwide. Hardware will be shipped to LUMEDX, installed with all operating system software and Apollo Advance software, and shipped to site to coincide with the visit of LUMEDX Implementation Managers.
