LUMEDX Client Services: Custom Solutions

The versatility of Apollo Advance includes custom solutions that meet the individual needs of our clients. From re-designing forms through the Apollo Advance Toolkit system, to custom query and report development, to custom clinical add-ons for our installed base, the LUMEDX Custom Solutions Group is prepared to meet your every need.

Custom Modification Development & Programming

Custom programming development for the online system, including custom interfaces, documentation, and/or custom data conversions.The Registry Export option includes running the export utility twice, and providing the export utility output to site for review. Additionally, automated monthly reports are provided at pre-set intervals. Once a site has validated their data, the final export is run for submission to the given registry (data for harvest must be received by LUMEDX within 30 days prior to the harvest date).

Customization Services

LUMEDX will provide customer modification support including query and report writing, Toolkit modifications, view and form modifications, and custom documentation. Clients are asked to provide the necessary specifications and input regarding query and report designs, and specifications on data fields that need to be added.

Data Conversions

Summit Medical Systems (DOS and Vista Versions)
The LUMEDX Data Conversion team converts data from legacy Summit Medical Systems DOS and Vista database into the Apollo Advance system. This includes Summit’s Surgery (STS), Catheterization (ACC), PTCA (ACC), and Cardiology (ACC) modules. The standard conversion consists of converting standard STS and ACC data elements that are common between the two systems (contact your sales executive for a list of the fields). In addition, LUMEDX will convert Summit elements that do not currently exist in Apollo Advance for an additional fee. This includes creating the fields in the backend of Apollo.

To date, the conversion team has successfully converted 140 Summit modules for 75 sites. The timeframe varies from site to site, but a typical conversion is usually completed within three months.

Custom Conversions
In addition to converting STS and ACC elements from Summit’s system, LUMEDX also has the capability to convert data from ANY legacy database into the Apollo Advance system, including surgery (STS), diagnostic and interventional cath (ACC), electrophysiology (EP), and congenital surgery data. This includes ‘homegrown’ legacy databases that a site may have developed and maintained over the years. LUMEDX will convert any data that would fit into an existing Apollo Advance module (including STS and ACC data). The price is contingent on a number of factors, including the number of fields to be converted and the structure of the legacy database (relational, flat-file format, etc.). An initial assessment is conducted by the LUMEDX Data Conversion team to determine the feasibility, price, and timeframe of the custom conversion.
