Electrocardiography Module
ECGs are inexpensive, high-volume tests. Productivity becomes important because of the high volume, low charge, and labor intensive nature of the procedure. Apollo Advance gives the ECG department manager or director the necessary information to measure staff productivity and measure the quality of work. Due to high volumes of ECGs, they are also easily misplaced resulting in lost data and procedure repetition.
As an ECG reporting solution, Apollo Advance can be used to measure the productivity (number of ECGs taken) of each technician for any time period. The individual treatment patterns of technicians can be monitored for quality of care delivered and this data can be compared with that of their peers. The user can evaluate the frequency of mistakes by technician and/or specific cart and determine whether there are training concerns or equipment problems. The user can calculate the volume of ECGs by physician to validate the payments to physicians for over-reading. Electronic copies of the images can also be stored safely in Apollo Advance to reduce the frequency of lost ECG data.
Through the Agilent Tracemaster and GE Marquette Muse interfaces, information can be transferred seamlessly into Apollo Advance without user intervention. Apollo Advance is designed to include ECG waveform images in MS Word reports; the data originates as HL7 messages through the interfaces and includes ECG measurements, a computer analysis of the waveform, and demographics data. The analysis of this information in the Apollo Advance database gives the user access to vast amounts of data to help identify treatment trends; both pre-packaged reports developed by LUMEDX, and custom reports developed by the user can be used to report outcomes.
Apollo Advance ECG solutions allow you to:
- Store images of ECG
- Store historical ECG data
- Works with Clinical Documentation to allow easy entry of procedural information
- Import data from the Agilent Tracemaster B ECG management system
- Imports data into the ECG module creating an ECG event record for selected patient
- The HL7 message includes ECG, waveform, measurements, a computer analysis of the waveform, and demographics data
Import data and waveforms from the GE Marquette's Muse ECG system to the ECG, Stress, and/or Holter modules
- Data and waveforms imported can be stored and viewed within a patient's Apollo Advance record
- ECG waveforms are imported as bitmaps (.bmp) or in portable document format (.pdf)
- Standard Adaptable Import Engine is used to import files to the appropriate Apollo clinical modules
- Apollo Resting ECG module
- Apollo Stress ECG module
- Apollo Holter module
