Group Urges ONC to Include mHealth in EHR Incentives

According to mHealthNews, the Telecommunications Industry Association is calling on the ONC to ensure that future EHR certification guidelines for meaningful use are mHealth friendly. 

CMS Meaningful Use Incentive Payments Reach $22.9B 

iHealthBeat reports that as of March 2014, CMS has paid out $22.9 billion in incentive payments to healthcare providers participating in the meaningful use program. The incentives are paid out to healthcare providers who have demonstrated meaningful use of certified electronic health record systems.
